Today was dumb.
I was scheduled to do a delivery at my day job, so I was up bright and early. I arrived at my job at 9:30 in the morning, hours before I would otherwise have risen, to discover that the delivery in question doesn’t exist. After forty or so minutes I was able to verify that I’d been scheduled in error; I couldn’t very well return to bed at this point, so I decided to get an early start with promotion-related things.
After a few hours of pricing business cards I settled on a design and a printing service (I’ll be using Uprinting, the same site handling my stickers) and decided to go to my school’s Tech Center to finalize the graphic design stuff and also to print some copies of the first page of Mutt, while I’ll be posting on cafe bulletin boards and the like.
Getting to school takes me a good long time each way, and when I got there, I found out that the Tech (and library, and everywhere else with computers) closed an hour earlier than I had thought. Discouraged, I bought some groceries, read some Dance with Dragons, and probably dozed a bit more than I should have. Always check schedules, kids, and pray whoever wrote them didn’t screw up.
