What’s Lords Of Autumn?

What is this Lords Of Autumn thing about?

Lords Of Autumn is a company I founded in 2011 when I realized that as a self-publishing author I should create a business entity for tax and legal reasons. Mutt is the first book I’ve published under Lords Of Autumn; two more should be available by the end of the year.

Does Lords Of Autumn publish books by other authors?

I’d really like to in the future. At present, I’m learning the ropes of marketing and promotion, so my publishing your book probably wouldn’t garner many sales for you. As I get better at this, I’ll look into publishing a couple of my friends and (perhaps, in a few years) other authors.

Can I send you my manuscript/query letter/writing samples–

Read above, love.

What does “Gypsy Wizard” mean?

Months before founding Lords Of Autumn as an actual business, I began it as a fictional company on Facebook whose mission statement was “to channel public awareness, human resources, and sorcery to create an unending age of repose.” A few close friends and I made whimsical job titles. My actual current title is “Proprietor,” but when I get around to drafting a corporate constitution, it will specify that “Gypsy Wizard” and “Proprietor” are interchangeable.

Now that it’s a real actual business, what is Lords Of Autumn’s mission?

To channel public awareness, human resources, and sorcery to create an unending age of repose.

Are you an actual wizard?

Yes.

Does LOA have its own website?

No. Since I’m operating on a shoestring and since I’m thus far only publishing myself, I haven’t yet justified the time and expense of designing one. As my activities under the banner expand, you’ll see more of a web presence.

Is LOA hiring?

I actually do need a street team to promote Mutt and the other, forthcoming books in the Rittenhouse Saga. I pay in kind words (and, if you live in the Philadelphia area, tacos). E-mail lordsofautumn@gmail.com if you’d like to help out! As for real, paying positions, not at present.

Where can I contact LOA?

lordsofautumn@gmail.com . Click “Contact” for our mailing address.

I’m out of questions.

Great!
